4 years ago, KushMed was built with a vision to benefit rural South Africa through the establishment of a viable Hemp industry. Today we are the largest cultivator, processor and exporter of Hemp in Africa.

Rural South Africa desperately needs a low entry point, short term crop to stimulate agricultural economies. Hemp offers the perfect opportunity to stimulate economic prosperity in rural communities across the country.

KushMed has invested significant financial resources establishing farms, processing centres and proving the viability of this crop on an industrial scale. Many others have attempted small scale research projects, which unfortunately can not talk to large scale viability. Our ‘all or nothing’ approach, although costly, has proven the business of Hemp cultivation.
